Angi Bloom, founder of Yoga Bloom, is an experienced, innovative yoga and fitness teacher, developing programs that incorporate Relaxation, Psychomotricity, Memory and Creative Journal Writing with various Yoga disciplines - Anusara, Sivanada, Iyengar and Ashtanga and Thai Yoga Massage.
Her classes incorporate the use of massage rollers, small stability balls, blocks, belts, chairs, walls, and optional partner facilitation in a closely supervised setting, allowing students to fully and safely experience the challenge and joy of each Asana (posture). She works with people of all ages and fitness levels - avid runners and athletes, children, teens, baby boomers, pre-natal, Ashtanga students, beginners, and individuals with health conditions (cancer, arthritis, back, knee, hip and shoulder injuries, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome) in consultation with medical and fitness professionals. She is currently completing a book and DVD on core strength, lean muscles, flexibility, balance, co-ordination, postural alignment and deep tension release.
